With more than 34 years experience in the healthcare industry, Robert S. Haskey, M.D., F.A.C.S., has 23 years of clinical experience in surgery. As a consulting Medical Director from 1987-1998, he gained significant knowledge related to healthcare finance in the commercial carrier area that led to acceptance of a full-time position as Medical Director with a large Blue Cross Blue Shield organization in the Pacific Northwest, The Regence Group, in 1998. During the succeeding 11 years with Regence, Doctor Haskey fulfilled many roles related to claims adjudication logic and editing, medical policy development, and support of legal and provider services. He served the BCBSA Medical Policy Panel from 2005-2009 and represented the BCBSA as a voting member of the AMA-CPT Editorial Panel from 2007-2009. He joined CGI in April 2009 as a Senior Medical Director.
