John Goolgasian

Mr. Goolgasian is the Chief Operating Officer of GeoSpark Analytics and the Associate Partner for Geospatial Analytics at OGSystems. He joined OGSystems in July 2016 after over 20 years leading analysis and collection activities for the intelligence community. He established an Analytics as a Service platform called BlueGlass at OGSystems that brings together satellite data, social media, news media, IoT device locations and others sources with machine learning and articifical intelligence to devlop threat and risk assessments. In July 2017, GeoSpark Analytics Inc. was spun out of OGSystsems to focus on growing the BlueGlass platform and John became its COO. Prior to joining OGSystems, Mr. Goolagsian served as the Director of NGA's Source Operations and Management Directorate between 2014 and 2016. Mr. Goolgasian was the Director of the Foundation GEOINT Group in Source from February 2012 to May 2014. He served in two successive roles leading the implementation of the NGA Vision; he was the Deputy Lead for the Online GEOINT Services Strategic Initiative and the Implementation Lead for Analytic Depth prior to joining Source. Mr. Goolgasian was the Director of the Office of Counterterrorism from October 2008 through December 2010. He served as a loaned executive to the US Coast Guard as the Senior Advisor to the Assistant Commandant for Intelligence and Criminal Investigation in 2008. From November 2005 through April 2008, Mr. Goolgasian served as the Deputy Director and the Director of the Office of Americas. He achieved Senior status in January 2005. Mr. Goolgasian was awarded the National Intelligence Certificate of Distinction in 1999 and a Meritorious Presidential Rank Award in 2012. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Geography from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, in 1992. He earned a Post Graduate Intelligence Program Degree in Strategic Intelligence from JMIC in 1996.
