Shannon is passionate about homebrewing and relentless about engaging women and newcomers in the hobby. She is serving her second year as the president of the Quiet Corner Homebrew Club and earned the title of QCHBC’s Homebrewer of the Year in 2018. Shannon is an experienced presenter, performer, and moderator and served as a Connecticut Women in Beer panelist at an event by Connecticut Girls Pint Out and Two Roads Brewing Co. She has also helped raise awareness of women in beer by co-organizing events designed to engage women in brewing, including a Pink Boots Society brew day that was covered by the Associated Press.
