Mike started homebrewing in 2008 and is a multiple award-winning brewer in competitions from coast-to-coast including a Best of Show for which he got to brew and serve his beer at Weyerbacher Brewing. Mike has served as the Vice-President of the Stoney Creek Homebrewers for the past 3 years and one of his proudest achievements is growing the club's educational segment to a standalone hour prior to each meeting's business portion that includes member presentations, round-table discussions and guest speakers like Lew Bryson, Ricky the Meadmaker and Drew Beechum and Denny Conn.
