Andrew Tipler




Andy has been homebrewing beer for almost 50 years. He grew up in the UK, where homebrewing was legalized in 1963, and started early. He recently retired as a research chemist at an international instrument company where he developed novel analytical instrumentation, much of which was used to analyze commercial beers. Andy has presented scientific papers at professional brewing conferences. A company move brought him to the USA 25 years ago, where he continued to develop his brewing skills along with gadgets and systems to assist with homebrewing.
