Meridian Hive Meadery


Eric is cofounder and operations director at Meridian Hive in Austin, Texas. Best known for its draught meads, Meridian Hive distributes mead to 10 states and is the only meadery in the history of the world’s largest meadery competition, the Mazer Cup, to have won four gold medals in one year. Eric started homebrewing in 2008 and quickly adopted advanced techniques before deciding to go pro in 2012. Eric is a National-ranked beer judge and certified mead judge.
