Experimental Brewing

Denny has brewed more than 535 batches in over 20 years. He is a BJCP National beer judge and has been a member of the AHA Governing Committee for 12 years. He was a contributing author to Craft Beer for the Homebrewer and coauthor, with Drew Beechum, of Experimental Homebrewing, Homebrew All-Stars, and Simple Homebrewing (Spring 2019). He has written for Zymurgy and Brew Your Own and is on the editorial board of Brew Your Own. Denny has a strain of brewer’s yeast named after him, Wyeast 1450 Denny’s Favorite, and he cohosts the Experimental Brewing and Brew Files podcasts.
