A homebrewer since 1992, John LaPolla is cofounder of Bitter & Esters in Brooklyn N.Y., currently New York City’s only homebrew supply shop. Since 2011, the goal of Bitter & Esters has been to inspire, educate, and nurture a growing homebrew community in a friendly space. With access to resources, supplies, and expertise, Bitter & Esters serves as a creative hub for education, community, and brewing advice.
