Matt Eshelman was first introduced to the world of fermentation while pursuing a Masters in Chemistry. After years of studying yeast metabolism on paper he decided to get involved with the real thing. Matt has been at Night Shift for 5 years and is currently the Quality Manager and lead on safety initiatives. His experience in chemistry lab settings has helped inform him of many of the safety risks of working at a brewery. In an attempt to learn more about safety in manufacturing facilities, Matt worked with the Dept. Of Industrial Accidents in Massachusetts to perform a safety review with former OSHA safety inspectors.
