I began homebrewing in 2014 while studying Microbiology at the University of Vermont. I Interned at Havoc meadery and fell in love with fermentation and yeast biology. After college I worked with Slack Tide Brewing company to establish a yeast program and improve brewery operation. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Masters in Biotechnology in December 2018. During this program I worked with Dr. Matt Farber at the USciences on a S.diastaticus project. I am running a neighborhood brewing club and brew at least once a week.
