Judi Coffey is the Supervisor of the Prescription Drug Abuse Team for the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. She began her legal career as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Marion County, Indianapolis in1995. She prosecuted hundreds of cases at the felony level and tried over 100 first chair jury trials. She was promoted to Senior Deputy Prosecutor in 2003 and appointed to the first Homicide Division team in Marion County. In 2009, she was appointed as the Director of the Marion County Child Advocacy Center responsible for the screening and charging of all child abuse and sex crime cases. After sixteen years in the field of prosecution, Judi began work for the Family and Social Services Agency in the Office of Medicaid Policy and Procedure. She was the Government Relations Manager and then appointed as the Director of Program Integrity overseeing the Audit, Investigation and Prepay Review teams. Judi holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate in Law from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law.
