Over the past decade Joe Lloyd and his wife LeAnna have successfully opened 10 coffee shops in Durango Colorado and Northwest New Mexico. They have put their heart and soul into developing a brand that reflects not only their love for great coffee but also a strong desire to treat people right from the bean all the way through to the cup. Beyond excelling at the business side of things, Joe believes that creating an experience that not only provides stellar customer service but also includes educating his staff and customers on where the coffee comes from, how it’s processed, how it’s roasted and how it’s brewed has been a key component of his success. From the beginning Joe’s desire has been to go the extra mile to discover where great coffee comes from and to meet the people who produce the coffee they serve in their coffee shops. Those travel experiences have ultimately shaped how Joe and his staff view the world of coffee. Joe has taken over half a dozen trips to origin in the last decade and believes those experiences with the coffee growers has been the single most important event in his own growth and development.
