Jose Sanchidrian

Dr. Jose Sanchidrián is Chair Professor of Explosives and Blasting at the School of Mines, Technical University of Madrid. Prof. Sanchidrián is a mining engineer, and he served 7 years in the Spanish Army Corps of Engineers and more than 10 years in the explosives industry. He has authored and edited 4 books and more than 90 journal and conference papers on explosives and blasting. His research topics include rock fragmentation, vibrations, and detonation & explosion physics. He is currently president of the International Committee on Rock Fragmentation by Blasting.
