Mr. Steffel has led the Distributed Energy Resources engineering function at Pepco Holdings (PHI) for six year since it's inception. Mr. Steffel has been active in the IEEE 1547 standards committee and has been a speaker at numerous industry and internal company functions discussing the details of interconnecting DER to the electric grid. Under Mr. Steffel's leadership PHI has developed their own internal systems and engineering expertise to become a leader in DER modeling and analysis.
