Evan Comeaux has been homebrewing for nearly 10 years, starting in grad school where he earned a PhD researching yeast biology. He moved to Memphis, Tenn., in 2014 and joined both local homebrew clubs and became competition coordinator for the Bluff City Brewers & Connoisseurs later that year. Over the past four years, Evan has helped grow the competition, standardize formats, establish key partnerships, and draft the Competition Survival Guide to help future coordinators run homebrew competitions.
