Technology Innovation| Asset Engineering & Strategy | Southern California Edison
Renee is a member of the Technology Innovation team at Southern California Edison. She is responsible for 1) engaging with national labs, universities, and utility vendors to communicate future system needs; 2) track emerging utility technology trends; and 3) evaluate promising solutions for meeting SCE’s decarbonization goals while pursuing her passion to develop and deploy a systems engineering approach to modernize the SCE grid. Renee is the Founder and Chair of the IEEE PES SBLC Multi-Energy Systems Working Group. She was previously employed by Ford Motor Company where she worked as an Electrical Systems Engineer for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and by Saddleback College as Adjunct Faculty in the Applied Technology & Applied Sciences department. She completed her BSEE, with honors, from University of California, Riverside in 2002 and MS in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from University of California, Irvine in 2014.
