Green Coffee Sales Team. While earning her bachelor’s degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Washington, Chelsey took a temporary job at the flagship Peet’s Coffee & Tea, where she developed her love for coffee and eventually abandoned her film production plans for a specialty coffee life. After nine years with Peet’s as a Store Manager and Training Manager, she started Seattle’s Slate Coffee Roasters with her mother and brother, building the company and opening a mobile Airstream coffee bar, two pop-ups and three retail locations as the Director of Retail. During that time, she also parlayed that experience and her love for coffee into US Brewers Cup success, taking 2nd in the US 2017 Coffee Championships. In Green Coffee Sales at Atlas, Chelsey uses her experience connecting guests with the perfect cup of coffee to connect roasters with the crop.
