Auswin Thomas is currently a Power System Engineer for Energy Markets at Siemens Digital Grid Software Solutions at Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his M.S. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University in 2012, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree. His research interests include power system operations, power markets, computational optimization, mathematical modeling and power system software development. His recent activities are in the Siemens developed Energy Market Management System Solutions at Philippines Wholesale Energy Spot Market.
