As Vice President of Strategic Development for MarkeTeam Inc, Ken works closely with the hospitality agency’s premier hotel, casino, cruise line and restaurant clients on F&B development projects and identifying critical opportunities that leverage the agency’s 25 years of hospitality industry experience. Formerly with Royal Caribbean International as Associate Vice President of Food & Beverage Operations, Ken oversaw the industry’s largest single branded F&B operation with over 17,000 F&B employees serving over 80,000 covers a day. Ken also played a leadership role with the development of the the Quantum class ships. In addition, he oversaw F&B projects related to a four-year $550-Million-dollar renovation of 15 existing ships resulting in a 50% increase in restaurant volume and improvement in revenue and guest satisfaction. In support of a multi-national workforce, Ken innovated training and development for thousands of employees creating an international hotel school in Southeast Asia, Europe and more recently with the Chinese government in Tianjin, China. Ken spent 15 years in leadership roles with Four Seasons Hotels where he was Food & Beverage Director and leadership roles at various prestigious properties. Ken has developed multiple indoor/outdoor resort dining concepts; four and five-star restaurant experiences; and has been recognized by Mobile for his contribution in the restaurant industry having overseen 3 Mobile-Five Star restaurants on the West Coast. He is a co-recipient of IFMA’s coveted Silver Plate award, as well as Nation's Restaurant News’ Spirit Award. In 2010 Ken received the Ivy Award from R&I Magazine. In 2011 Ken was elected to the International Food & Beverage Executives Forum, a non profit association of fifty global food and beverage executives from leading hotels and resorts. Ken has completed MBA certificate courses at University of Miami and Kellogg University in Chicago, IL.
