Randy Boys Manager, Strategy & Technology, Oncor Electric Delivery. Operations manager for the SOSF microgrid, and lead for DER use case studies conducted with those resources. A relative newbie to the power industry. Previously 34 years in Defense electronics as project Lead Engineer, Sr. Systems Engineer, R&D project Principal Investigator, and Program Manager. Emphasis in man-machine symbiotics and artificial intelligence, with applications in multi-sensor systems, Command & Control, Intelligence, and man-machine interfaces. Professional career started in the UT system, conducting human psychophysiology studies in cognition with measures of anything that could be physically measured ... EEG, EMG, EOG, GSR, xenon tomography, blood and brain chemistry, etc.. Lover of the outdoors, and promoting that love in children, including exposure to the scientific underpinnings and community responsibilities that come with that appreciation. Active in both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and with the City of Allen, EarthDay TX, and other local environmental outreach groups.
