Mr. Christian Aaen, Principal / Partner – Entertainment + Culture Advisors (ECA) Christian Aaen is a founding Principal of Entertainment + Culture Advisors (ECA), specializing in entertainment development, attraction destination projects and leisure and tourism economics, headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, and with an office in Hong Kong. ECA is the market leader in strategic advisory, entertainment and attraction projects worldwide, with a special focus on Asia and China. Prior to co-founding ECA in late 2010, Mr. Aaen opened the legacy ERA Hong Kong office as the Managing Principal. As Regional Director, Mr. Aaen was responsible for the entertainment and leisure practice in Asia, including China. Mr. Aaen has participated in a broad range of themed entertainment facilities and cultural development projects worldwide. Mr. Aaen has conducted feasibility studies and provided advisory services for key international clients such as Merlin Entertainments/LEGOLAND Parks, Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox, DreamWorks Animation, Village Roadshow, Khazanah Nasional, Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Cartoon Network/Turner Asia, Ocean Park (Hong Kong), KidZania, Beijing Tourism Group (BTG), China Resources Land (CRL), Wanda Group, Huayi Bros., CITIC Trust, China Media Capital (CMC), among others.
