Patrick T. Campbell is a litigation partner and member of BakerHostetler's White Collar, Investigations, and Securities Enforcement and Litigation Team. Mr. Campbell focuses his litigation practice on white collar and corporate criminal and regulatory matters, as well as commercial litigation. Among various other representations, Mr. Campbell counsels international construction and other companies on ethics and compliance and corporate governance matters. Mr. Campbell also was a key member of the legal team that represented the former Ethical Practices Attorney of Local 14-14B of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Mr. Campbell also represents clients against securities fraud and civil asset forfeiture allegations, and, since 2009, has worked on a variety of litigation matters in connection with BakerHostetler's role as court-appointed counsel to the Securities Investor Protection Act trustee, Irving H. Picard, for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC. Mr. Campbell has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by New York Metro Super Lawyers every year since 2012. He has authored articles on internal investigations and compliance-related issues and is an editor of BakerHostetler’s bi-annual Cross-Border Government Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement Review. Mr. Campbell has presented for the New York City Bar Association Construction Committee on ethics and compliance and internal investigations and is a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Compliance Committee. Mr. Campbell received his B.B.A., magna cum laude, from The City University of New York, Baruch College, and his J.D., summa cum laude, from New York Law School.
