Byron is Adient’s executive vice president, responsible for our seating business in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. He leads the global JIT, foam and trim businesses, focusing on operational excellence and effective program execution and launch. Additionally, he oversees Adient’s global engineering, program management, quality, and procurement and supply chain functions. Since joining Johnson Controls in 1997, Byron has held a number of leadership positions within the company. Between 2012 and 2015, he served as the group vice president and general manager of Customer Groups and Strategy, where he worked on developing relationships with OEM customers and driving profitable growth strategies. Previous roles include leading our global metals business, global trim and NA operations.
