Dr. Bowers has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Toxicology, both from Iowa State University. She currently works at Iowa State in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering in the area of feed and grain safety, specializing in mycotoxins in grains and feed.
