Ryan Fields is the founding brewer/blender of Beachwood Blendery and the co-owner/brewer of Wild Fields Brewhouse, coming soon to Atascadero, CA. His career in beer began at The Lost Abbey in 2008 where he quickly fell in love with Belgian sour beer. After that he spent three years as head brewer of Pizza Port San Clemente before moving on to help develop and run the barrel program at Beachwood Blendery, which he is still affiliated with. He holds a B.S. in Physics from UCSD and authored a short paper analyzing data collected by Beachwood Blendery.
