Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, Zebib joined UN Women HQ as a procurement analyst in June 2017. At UN Women, Zebib’s main area of focus is gender-responsive procurement - working to increase the share of women-owned businesses in UN Women’s overall procurement spend. Prior to joining UN Women, Zebib worked as a corporate lawyer at a law firm in Stockholm for over three years, where her main areas of focus were Merger & Acquisitions, procurement law, and commercial contract law. Zebib holds a Master in Laws from Stockholm University and has studied business in Paris. During her study years, Zebib did volunteer work in East Africa and interned at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at a litigation firm in Los Angeles. In Stockholm, she was one of two founders of an (informal) East African networking group for young professionals, aiming to overcome discrimination barriers on the labor market, building business networks, promoting carrier building, etc.
