Paul Lorentz, LEED AP, employed in a traditionally male-dominated industry yet surrounded by a team of women, manages both with grace and a raging sense of humor. A graduate of Carroll University (Waukesha, Wisconsin) with a double major in art and English, Paul joined the Madison, Wisconsin-based Affiliated Engineers Inc. in 1999. During his tenure in project administration, Paul has grown his knowledge of the world of MEP engineering and all phases of the project lifecycle. His expertise lies in the management of not only the details of project execution, but also of all of the people and personalities engaged in any one project. With a management style that draws from his humanities background as well as his volunteer work in prison restorative justice programs, Paul was tapped to lead the firm’s project support team, which is comprised of seven administrative professionals, six of whom are women.
