Judaline Cassidy

.

Judaline Cassidy grew up in Trinidad and Tobago and now lives in New York. She fell in love with plumbing and attempted to join the plumbers union in 1994, but was refused. After a year during which a friend advocated for her, she was permitted to join. She has excelled in the field and has fought her way to a leadership position in the union. She is the founder of Tools and Tiaras, which she started in 2017, and hosts a girls’ camp every year, also funding most of this program with her own earnings. Judaline has spoken at the 2017 MAKERS Conference, The Women Who Made New York in April 2017, and the Omega Institute in October 2017 and works heavily to destroy gender barriers in the plumbing industry.
