Briana has been a member of Aetna’s Special Investigations Unit for 6 years. She worked on the member/pharmacy team for the first 4 years and the Medicaid team for 2 years. She has a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Economic Crime Management. She frequently gives presentations on how to identify fraud outside of the SIU. The Medicaid SIU Team was created in 2012. Briana was involved in the start-up of this team, experiencing firsthand the differences and challenges Medicaid presents.
