Jürgen Behnke is a senior manager at RWE Generation with +20 years of experience in mobilisation, operation and maintenance of hard coal and gas fired power stations in national and international projects. He had several management functions in hardcoal and gas fired plants He holds a diploma in industrial engineering, international management and process optimisation from the University of Paderborn in Germany Before developing RWE’s external O&M business, Jürgen was the General Manager in a Belgian IPP Joint Venture, Plant Manager in two of RWEs 400MW CCPPs and responsible for the mobilisation of several gas- and coal-fired power stations. Also he worked on large due diligences, coordinated several overarching optimisation programs and strategic business process reengineering projects for the RWE Group, with the focus on generation.
