Susan M. Bearden is the Chief Innovation Officer for the Consortium for School Networking and provides project management support for Google’s Rolling Study Halls. She served as a Senior Education Pioneers Fellow at the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of Educational Technology where she led the 2017 update of federal government’s K-12 school infrastructure guide, Building Technology Infrastructure for Learning. A former K12 technology director and author of “Digital Citizenship: A Community-Based Approach,” she has received numerous awards including being named one of the Center for Digital Education’s 2015 “Top 30 Technologists, Transformers and Trailblazers,” the 2015 “Making IT Happen” Award from FSTE, and the 2014 Bammy Award for School Technologist of the
