Joseph Messina




Joseph V. Messina, CPD, FASPE, is a Professional Associate and Mechanical Section Manager for HDR Architecture Inc. in Atlanta. He has more than 40 years of engineering experience in designing and engineering plumbing systems and has extensive experience with healthcare, laboratory, and vivarium facilities. Joseph is a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and he has been a member of ASPE since 1989. He served on the Greenville Chapter Board of Directors for several years while living in South Carolina and on the Atlanta Chapter Board of Directors as President and Vice President, Technical. Joseph sits on ASPE’s Education Committee where he has been involved in publishing PowerPoints and assisting with the selection of seminars and speakers for ASPE’s Technical Symposiums and Conventions. He was the author of the “Designer’s Notebook” column in Plumbing Systems & Design magazine from May 2004 to May 2012.
