David Lewis




David L. Lewis, CPD, FASPE, has more than 40 years of experience in the design of plumbing, medical gas, and fire protections systems. David holds an ASSE 6020 Medical Gas Delivery System Inspector Certification. He is a founding member of ASPE’s Charlotte Chapter and is the current President. He has held the offices of Chapter President, Vice President, Technical, and Vice President, Legislative multiple times. David has served as a member of ASPE’s Technical & Research Committee, including Chair of the committee. He now serves as a member of ASPE’s Education Committee. Currently with Clark Nexsen’s Charlotte office, David is involved in extensive surveys at several VA hospital sites to identify potential problem areas and to design methods of modification to the existing water systems to meet VA guidelines to eliminate potential Legionella issues.
