Robert Carlton




Robert Carlton, PE, has more than 33 years of experience designing complex mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Robert’s certifications include Master Plumber–Unrestricted (Georgia), Medical Gas Designer, Backflow Prevention Technician, and Licensed Georgia Sprinkler Contractor. A recognized expert in fluids design, his work experience emphasizes industrial process systems, healthcare plumbing, and fire suppression. He is the Lead Engineer for the team tasked with rewriting the Veterans Administration’s master plumbing specifications, as well as the Engineer of Record for Legionella assessment and mitigation designs for hospital facilities throughout the U.S. Robert is a Principal at Clark Nexsen, a full-service architecture and engineering firm.
