I have been teaching at Port Orange Elementary School in Volusia County for four years. I have taught 5th grade my entire career, the last two years as the 5th grade Math teacher for our departmentalized grade level. In my classroom students learn through a mix of hands on learning, and digital instruction. This past year I served as the Digital Leader for my school, on the district Digital Learning team. I have now transitioned into a district role as a Personalized Learning Leader this year with the focus on teaching teachers effective teaching with the use of technology.
