Robert Hitchcock, CMRP, is the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Supervisor at Central Arizona Project. Robert is a graduate of Construction Engineering from Northern Arizona University. Robert worked as an engineer and project manager on civil and commercial construction projects across Arizona and Southern California before joining Central Arizona Project in 2008. At Central Arizona Project he as a Civil Maintenance and Reliability Engineer where he served as the lead author on CAP’s Pool 1 Root Cause Failure Analysis conducted in conjunction with the Pool 1 Breach Repair that took place in 2012. In 2013 Robert was promoted to Supervisor of Central Arizona Project’s Maintenance Planning and Scheduling group. In this role he manages 14 Planning and Scheduling Professionals who plan, schedule, and coordinate the execution of work for 21 internal work execution crews comprised of over 200 crafts and trades employees including mechanics, electricians, equipment operators, machinists, welders, industrial coaters, heavy overhaul mechanics, and instrumentation technicians.
