Dr. Shaun Hurley holds degrees in physics, civil engineering, and educational technology. He's an Apple Distinguished Educator and professionally certified in computer science, math, and physics. He brings over fifteen years of classroom experience with him, which spans over three public and three independent schools and ranges from middle school to higher education. He has taught over twenty-five different courses in the areas of math, physics, and computer science. Additionally, he's taught at technology camps hosted at Stanford, Harvard, and George Washington University. In addition to his roles as the Educational Technology Coordinator and Computer Science Teacher at Saint Edward's School, he develops and teaches online computer science education courses for the University of Florida. During the COVID pandemic, he worked as a consultant to help UNC at Chapel Hill and Skidmore College professors transform their traditional face-to-face classes to online classes.
