Mr. Gates is managing director of Wind Stream which operates approximately 250 older turbines in Tehachapi, CA. The turbines range for 1.5 mw to 65kw. Wind Stream has implemented several life extension projects for the older turbines seeking to improve the overall economics. Mr. Gates has been involved in wind energy for 35+ years in the commercial, operation and finance areas.
