Logan A. Hollobaugh is Sr. Counsel for Chicago Bridge & Iron, N.V. (CB&I) in The Woodlands, Texas. His role as corporate counsel is focused on the day-to-day management of construction litigation in which he oversees the resolution of both domestic and international engineering and construction disputes involving claims of delay, disruption, cost overruns, acceleration, and defects primarily related to EPC contracts. Logan has been involved in dispute resolution on domestic projects including multi-billion dollar disputes involving projects in Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Illinois, Louisiana and a number of other states and multi-million dollar disputes involving international projects in the UK, Chile, Canada, and Australia. His dispute resolution experience covers the gamut of forums, including litigation (both federal and state courts, as well as courts in Canada and the UK), arbitration in AAA, UNCITRAL and ICC forums and Dispute Resolution Boards (DRBs) and a wide array of projects in the sectors of Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Fossil Power, LNG facilities, Energy, Industrial, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Environmental and Chemicals. Prior to joining CB&I, Logan was a member of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C.’s Construction Industry Practice Group in Chicago, Illinois, where the core of his practice was the representation of contractors, design-builders and construction managers in public and private construction related matters. Logan received his B.A. degree from Iowa State University and his J.D. degree from The John Marshall Law School. Logan has been recognized at the highest levels by his peers and was selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Stars in Construction Litigation in 2012 and 2013. He has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2009. Logan is active in the ABA Forum on Construction Law and Construction Litigation Committees.
