Mary Schillinger

Mary Schillinger is the former Deputy Superintendent of Education for Las Virgenes Unified School District in Southern California. Her experience includes general and special education teaching at all grade levels, and education administration. Mary was a Special Education Director for ten years and an instructor at California State University Northridge in the Special Education and School Psychology departments. Forming Collaboration for Success, Mary is a trainer and consultant at the local, state, and national levels. She has authored five books with LRP, the most recent being guides to success in the Common Core State Standards. Additional training topics include Universal Design for Learning, supporting special needs learners in access to rigor, and Co-Teaching instruction.
