Maria Sharrett has worked in the field of education over the past seven years.  Maria holds a Master’s degree in Special Education General Curriculum and a Specialist degree is Curriculum and Instruction and is working on a Leadership add-on.  Maria has served in various roles including classroom teacher, special education department chair, and RTI liason.  As Director of Special Education for Georgia Connections Academy, Maria works with special education teachers and related service providers.  She oversees compliance, curriculum, and collaboration for students with disabilities.
