Ana strongly believes in the positive effects of learning at work. Having reached her goal of becoming a television producer at age 21, the experience she gained as a media instructor at Michigan State University opened a new path in the field of learning. In Puerto Rico, she worked as an Educational Consultant with IBM and the Department of Education on a project that introduced the use of computers in the classroom. In Chicago, as an Instructional Designer at SSA (Software System Associates) she develop courses and manuals for enterprise software application on logistics and supply chain. At Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), she was a Training and Documentation Consultant and directed the development of training and help systems to the launch new products (applications). Ana joined the IGA Coca-Cola Institute team in 2006 and since then she has managed their Learning Management System (LMS), customer service and support for food retailers that make up that international organization. She also manages the Spanish course development. Her contributions include the People Development Program, which facilitates the implementation of online training programs; the Grocery Start program which offers food retail curriculums to the general public on a pay per use base. Her work areas also include marketing, communications and sales. Ana received a Master degree in Media Administration and Production from Michigan State University. Her thesis investigated the effects of non-linear editing systems in the creative process and the construction of visual narration. At the University of Puerto Rico she received the Bachelor of Public Communication.
