Hee Jin has been conducting research and evaluation in the field of education for over 13 years, focusing on literacy, language acquisition, language assessment, and academic and social adaptation of English Language Learners / immigrant origin youth, and civic engagement among minority youth. Her work has also included evaluations of teacher professional development programs and usability / user experience research in educational technology. At Classroom, Inc. Hee Jin leads the research and evaluation work to assess the effectiveness of the Read to Lead program as well as to inform product development based on user experiences. Her current work also includes assessment of 21st century skills using game-based data.
