Chari Distler is a Technology Education Teacher at Cardinal Gibbons High School. She has over 20 years computer teaching/administration educational technology experience. She holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NYIT. She has extensive training in Alice Programming, and has presented multiple times on the topic at FETC, FCIS, Alice Symposiums and Adventures in Alice, a two-week extensive Alice workshop for teachers at Duke University. Her paper "Piloting Alice in the Upper School " has been published in the ACM Digital Library. Chari offers professional development opportunities to teachers and continuously updates her learning goals and tools. She is currently an Apple Distinguished Educator, Adobe Education Leader and Google Certified
