Haemi Pollett is a Strategic Technology, Codes and Standards manager with Uponor. As a registered Professional Engineer of Ontario, she has a background in Chemical Engineering and has been working for Uponor over 5 yrs. Uponor is a producer of building solution systems including plastic piping system for residential and commercial purposes. The global head office is located in Finland, and the N.A. head office is located in MN. Prior to joining Uponor, she has been working for chemical producers and an engineering consulting firm as a Technical Sales Manager. She has been actively involved for various US, Canada and International standards/codes committees including ASTM F17 (plastic piping), ASTM E05 (fire resistance), ASTM E60 (sustainability), CSA B1800 (non-pressure pipe), CSA B137 (pressure pipe), CSA B214 (hydronic heating), CSAC448 (geothermal), ISO TC 138 (plastic piping representing Canada), National Master Spec of Canada, NSF 358 (sustainability), NSF 444 (Prevention of Injury and Disease Associated with Building Water Systems ), ULC TG 41 (fire resistance) and UL STP (fire resistance) etc.
