Anita Nouri is a Partner and Business Development Director of Green Energy Solutions & Sustainability LLC a Dubai based company. Anita studied at Ryerson University in Canada. She was the CEO and Managing Director of AZN Construction in Canada, before moving to the UAE with her husband and two children in 2008 with a passion about Environment and building a Sustainable Future. Together with her husband they envisioned and developed the Al Qusais Landfill Gas Project from the inception to power generation. Al Qusais Landfill Gas Flaring and Power Generation is a registered large scale CDM project registered with the UNFCCC. Together they established Green Energy Solutions & Sustainability LLC with the support of their investment partners in the UAE targeting landfills and environmental solutions in the region. Al Qusais is a testament to what can be achieved in the region. All landfills should be degassed and utilized for power generation.
