Joel holds a MS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Central Florida. He joined GE as a gas turbine combustion engineer and worked in the development of new products for syngas fuels and fuel flexibility, as well as high-efficiency natural gas combustion. He currently works in steam turbine engineering, addressing steam turbine and balance of plant operability challenges.
