Currently Chairman of West Delta Electricity Production Company (WDEPC) Formerly Head of Abu Qir 2x650 MW power station from construction, commissioning till operation phase and responsible for the following: - Providing all directions to plant department managers (Mechanical, electrical, I&C, technical affair, operation, chemistry and HSE) and overall guidance to plant staff to witness, follow up, test, receive all plant equipment. - Direction and follow up of plant construction activities as per approved technical specifications and project schedule and managing contractors payments against progress and milestone dates. - Managing and coordination between project multi packages contractors and solving interfaces problems between contractors. - Managing plant daily activities between operation and maintenance staff with reference to dispatch needs after commercial operation. - Directing spare parts planning for strategic and normal parts and monitoring inventory.
