Chad is a World Champion Elk Caller and 2 time Eastern US Elk Calling Champion. Chad is also a Licensed Montana Professional Outfitter and Guide. Besides his passion for hunting he is a freelance writer, his articles and photographs have been featured in several magazines including Outdoor Life, American Hunter, American Rifleman, Field and Stream and more. Chad is Director of Advertising / Media Relations for CVA Muzzleloaders, Bergara USA, PowerBelt Bullets, DuraSight Rings and Bases, Quake Industries and Konus Optics. Sponsored by many of the hunting industries leading manufacturers Chad has conducted over 1000 hunting and fishing seminars across the United States and has hunted and fished extensively around the world. He is also the past Editor of Blackpowder Guns and Hunting Magazine. Most importantly he is the husband to Marsha and dad to Walker & Wyatt.
Marsha Schearer grew up in Tennessee. She jokes she was hunting for a husband now she hunts with her husband. Marsha is known for her ability as a camp cook and in the kitchen hosting Shoot Straight’s Recipes From The Field. But don’t let that fool you as she has been a licensed Montana Guide for over 15 years and has spent over 500 nights in a tent. Marsha was the first lady to be put on the CVA pro staff and has hunted and fished around the world. Lets just say there isn’t enough time to say what Marsha really does for Chad and Shoot Straight TV.
