Shaheen Chohan is the Vice President of Global Analytics at Industrial Info Resources and is based in Dubai. Industrial Info Resources is a global provider of market intelligence data, research and analysis on the upstream and downstream energy markets, power generation and metals & minerals sectors and have been tracking the trends in infrastructure capex and maintenance spending for over 25 years. Through a suite of global project tracking data solutions, Industrial Info Resources helps their customers connect to project opportunities, ranging from $1mn out to multi-billion dollar projects, across over 92,000 currently active projects globally, totaling $13.7 trillion dollars. Shaheen has been operating in the Middle East for almost 10 years and was previously a Director at Contax Partners, a Dubai based strategy consulting & advisory firm to the energy markets as well as being part of the Strategy & Planning group at Musanada in Abu Dhabi. Shaheen is originally from the UK, where he has over 15 years of consulting, research and market data experience from his time as Head of Strategic Marketing at Reuters (London) as well as with Ernst & Young’s Strategic Advisory Services group (London) and McKinsey & Co (London). Shaheen has an MSc in Information Management from Sheffield University and an BSc in Geology from London University.
